An agreement has been signed between Russia and the EU for simplifying visa procedures. Thus, a Schengen visa will cost 35 Euros whereas it will cost 60 Euros for other visitors who need to apply.

In addition, the agreement should allow simpler procedures for single entry visas (up to 3 months validity) and multiple entry for certain categories of citizens, including official delegations, businessmen, journalists or students exchange.

This agreement has not been ratified by the European Parliament yet and Russia already ratified the draft agreement in last March,
